Churchtown Forge

The conversion of a redundant and run down forge building into luxurious accommodation.

Recently completed after 10 months of work this superb old building is a showcase for the variety of skills tgl property can bring. From the underpinning and structural work, to stonework designed to complement the existing building, our craftsmen have enjoyed bringing new life to this slightly ageing structure.

Working downward from the new slate roof, cast iron gutters and downpipes were added, windows inserted and the fabric of the building secured. Internally our carpenters have made oak ledge and brace doors, moulded all the skirting boards and architraves and fitted two new kitchens. Oak floors, an oak and glass staircase and two new luxury bathrooms complete the package.
